REX - A trustworthy company with constancy  REX-Technologie GmbH was founded in 1993 by the Eisenwerke Friedrich Wilhelm Düker GmbH & Co. KG, at the same time taking over Schrofner, a company producing and selling vacuum filler for food processing at the site in Thalgau; the new company was to be known as Schrofner Fleischereimaschinen GmbH. Düker, a company looking back to a history spanning 500 years, making it one of Germany's oldest commercial companies, has been involved in the manufacture of machinery for food processing since 1963 with the take-over of a part of the Rexroth company. With the development of high-quality products, it has since established itself as a market leader both at home and abroad. Combining the technical expertise and distribution networks of the former competitors Düker/Rex and Schrofner has achieved considerable synergies. The product range has been continuously expanded and the market presence intensified. In 1997, the company's name was changed to "Rex". In 2000, Andreas Haslacher and Christian Haas have each taken over half of the Rex company's shares from Düker. The company was reorganized and its premises extended. Construction and manufacture of products is now done exclusively within the company; marketing and distribution is done through a global dealer network, while more than 40 licensed dealers worldwide support customer and after-sales services. In 2003, the company changed its name to REX-Technologie GmbH. With effect from 1 January 2006, the company's legal form was changed to GmbH & Co. KG. |
